Can I pay with cash?
Regrettably, we are cashless and accept card payments only.
Where can I make a reservation?
Reservations for Bancone can be made through our website only. We do not accept reservations through our email, over the phone or in person.
How far in advance is your reservation diary open?
A reservation can be made up to 120 days in advance.
Am I able to request a specific table?
We cannot guarantee any specific table or allocation. However, we always do our best to accommodate requests.
Can I amend my reservation?
We can amend reservation times and number of guests via our email at host@bancone.co.uk and over the phone, shall space allow.
We are unable to add guests to a reservation of 1 and therefore ask that the reservation is cancelled and booked again with the desired amount of people.
I want to book a table for more than 4 guests, but no availability is showing. How can I book it?
At Bancone Golden Square, online reservations can be made for up to 7 guests in the restaurant and 8-14 guests in the Private Dining Room.
At Bancone Covent Garden, online reservations can be made for up to 4 guests in the restaurant and 8-12 guests in the Private Dining Room.
At Bancone Borough Yards, online reservations can be made for up to 9 guests in the restaurant and 10-30 guests on the Private Dining Mezzanine.

Please be aware that we are only able to add guests to a reservation if space allows.
What is the maximum number of guests per table I can book in the main restaurant?
Covent Garden: 4 guests
Golden Square: 4 guests (tables of 5-7 are always accommodated in our downstairs seating area)
Borough Yards: 9 guests
For larger reservations please use our Private Dining Rooms.
There is no availability online for a reservation, am I able to come as a walk-in?
Yes, we welcome walk-ins on a first come, first-served basis.
We run a wait list on the day so please come and put your name down, however we can never guarantee a specific table or specific time.
Please be aware that we normally have only counter seats available for walk-ins.
I’ve booked two tables and would like these to be put together, is that possible?
We are unable to join tables. Multiple bookings for the same party will not be honoured.
Why do I need to give my credit card details to make a reservation?
For reservations of 2 or more people, we ask for the credit card details as a way to secure the reservation.
No deposit is taken when the reservation is made.
What is your cancellation policy?
If a reservation is not cancelled at least 3 hours prior to the reservation time, £25 per person will be deducted from the card added to the reservation, as stated in our terms and conditions when the booking is made.
We also take into consideration unforeseen events and therefore give guests the opportunity to reschedule for a future date.

Do you have highchairs?
Although we welcome children of all ages, we do not have highchairs in any of our venues due to limited space.
Do you have gluten-free alternatives?
We do offer gluten free pasta as a substitute on some dishes but please note we cannot guarantee dishes are 100% gluten free.
Can you accommodate someone with coeliacs disease?
We make fresh pasta in the restaurants all day and as such flour is part of the atmosphere of the restaurant. While we will take every care over all dietary requirements, we cannot guarantee that our dishes are 100% gluten free.
I have allergies/intolerances, are you able to accommodate me?
We will always do our best to accommodate all dietary requirements but cannot guarantee that dishes are 100% allergen free. Please email host@bancone.co.uk to discuss at least 24 hours prior to your reservation.
It is my birthday, can a cake with a candle be brought to me as a dessert?
Unfortunately, we do not make birthday cakes, and we ask that your own food is not brought in to the restaurant.
Candles, balloons and other decorations are not allowed, including birthday decorations.
We are unable to write messages on our dessert plates but will do all we can to make your celebration special.
Can we bring our own wine? If so, what is the corkage fee?
Our corkage fee is £27 per bottle, and we only accept a maximum of two bottles per reservation.
Do you accept dogs?
We love dogs but regrettably do not permit dogs in the restaurant, other than registered assistance dogs.
Can I make a change to a dish on the menu?
All our dishes have been carefully created to be well balanced and we are therefore unable to accommodate changes to our menu. It is important to us that our dishes live up to expectations and are served as intended.

Can we create a bespoke menu?

How does the menu work?
We offer Feasting menus where there is no need to order as you will receive all dishes on large plates and bowls in an intimate and informal environment.
Can we split the bill?
The food is paid for at time of booking and then deducted from your final bill at the time of the event. The remainder of the balance can be split but the prepayment cannot be refunded.
Can we bring our own decorations?
Candles, balloons and other decorations are not allowed, including birthday decoration.

What is the cancellation policy for Private Dining reservations?
To cancel a private dining room reservation, we require 14 days notice via email at host@bancone.co.uk.
After the 14 days prior to the reservation, the deposit is non-refundable but we are happy to reschedule the reservation to a future date.

Is Bancone wheelchair accessible?
All our venues have accessible access to the main restaurant and restricted access to facilities. Unfortunately, there is no accessible access to our private dining rooms.
